The problem

An EICR tells you where you stood.
Not where you stand.

Your last EICR passed. But that was 3 years ago. Since then, new tenants moved in, appliances changed, circuits have tripped. Between inspections, most landlords have no picture at all.

Without VoltMonitor
A certificate from 4 years ago and no idea what's changed since.
If something goes wrong, you have a single snapshot as your only defence. No ongoing record. No evidence of care. No early warning.
With VoltMonitor
A living compliance record — updated annually, stored forever.
Annual VoltScores between EICRs. Renewal reminders. Document storage. A complete audit trail that proves you took ongoing responsibility.

What's included

Everything a landlord
actually needs.

📊

Annual VoltScore per property

A new electrical health score every year — not just at EICR. Track whether properties are improving, stable or deteriorating over time.

🔔

EICR renewal reminders

Automatic alerts when a certificate is approaching its 5-year deadline. Never miss a renewal date again — for any property in your portfolio.

📁

Secure document storage

Upload and store EICRs, electrical certificates and reports for every property. Access them instantly — from anywhere, on any device.

🛡️

Compliance audit trail

A timestamped record of every assessment, score and action taken. Your legal defence if a tenant complains or an authority inspects.

📱

Tenant issue logging Soon

Tenants can report electrical concerns directly. Every report is logged, dated and stored — proving you responded and took action.

Deterioration alerts Soon

If a property's score drops significantly year on year, VoltMonitor flags it before it becomes a safety issue or a compliance failure.

The thing most landlords
don't have.
A certificate from 5 years ago proves you passed an inspection. A VoltMonitor audit trail proves you took ongoing responsibility. In a dispute, that difference is significant.
📋

Questions

Common questions
from landlords.

Does VoltMonitor replace my EICR?
No. An EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) carried out by a qualified electrician is a legal requirement every 5 years. VoltMonitor complements your EICR — tracking compliance, storing certificates and providing annual health scores between inspections. It does not replace a formal electrical inspection.
Can I add properties at any time?
Yes. You can add properties to your dashboard at any time. If you exceed your plan's property limit, you'll be prompted to upgrade — we'll always give you notice before any charge changes.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data remains accessible for 90 days after cancellation, giving you time to export all documents, reports and compliance records. We never delete your data without warning.
Can my letting agent access the dashboard?
Yes — on the Professional plan and above, you can grant letting agent access to view and manage properties on your behalf. They can upload documents, log issues and monitor compliance without being able to change billing or account settings.
Is the VoltScore a legal document?
The VoltScore is a self-assessment tool and is not a substitute for a formal EICR. However, the audit trail it creates — showing regular assessments, logged issues and responsive action — can support your position in a dispute or inspection. Always maintain a current EICR alongside your VoltMonitor record.
What if a tenant reports an electrical issue?
On the Landlord plan and above, tenants can log electrical concerns directly through a simple form. Each report is timestamped, stored and visible on your dashboard. This creates a documented record of the issue and your response — essential protection if a dispute arises later.
